Why Owner chose Seacrest BeachWe had vacationed in this area for many years, with the last 2-3 years in Seacrest Beach Resort. We decided in 2008 to take the plunge, therefore we named our home 'off the deep end'. We love the area and the quaintness that 30A offers. We specifically like Seacrest Beach for the family atmosphere and of course, the awesome swimming pool. It can only compliment the beautiful gulf beaches. What makes this House uniqueOne of the unique benefits of 'off the deep end' is the floor plan. All sleeping areas are separate from the living area. A covered porch provides retreat from the sun, and with the awesome view of the gulf, makes it great for just sitting back and relaxing. The family room is large and comfortable and enhanced with the cathedral ceiling. This house just 'screams', relax and enjoy
This is our fifth year staying at Seacrest and \"Off the Deep End\" was our favorite home by far. The layout was excellent and while there were two families with six kids total, we never felt crowded or \'on top of each other\'. The location to the beach and shops is perfect, and we loved the openness of the second floor with the covered deck. Randy, the owner of the house, was also very responsive. The pictures don\'t do the house justice! If we return to Seacrest next year, we will stay there again!
For the past 10+ years we\'ve visited this area during Spring Break, renting different houses every year. This house was absolutely the best! The location cannot be beat and the house is gorgeous. It\'s not a cookie-cutter beach house like so many others but has charm, character and oh, the front porch…just plop me there and leave me :). It\'s been 6 months since our stay but I promise you I think about that house and the fun trip we had at least once a week. It\'s awesome!
The beach home was perfect for our family of 9 with 2 little ones. Everyone slept on the bottom floor and spent most of our time upstairs. I could get up in the morning and make coffee with out waking anyone up. Loved the covered porch. I spent most of my time there while the little ones watched cartoons on the big screen TV. It was only a short stroll to see an outdoor movie at ALYs Beach. Restaurants within walking distance were very good. Two of the grandkids rented a bicycle just down the street and had plenty of trails to ride. We loved the huge pool and was great place to take some relief from the beach and the heat.
My family recently stayed at \"Off The Deep End\" at Seacrest Beach. Since we live only 1 1/2 hours from the beaches, we rent frequently at Seacrest Beach. Out of all the places we\'ve stayed (6 houses) over the past few years, this place was by far the most spectacular. Not only was the location great, but the floor plan was awesome, as well as the high end furniture and other amenities. The view from the covered porch was like a postcard. Terrific view of the gulf, including the relaxing sounds of the waves. The house is wired with speakers throughout the house, including the porch. The kids loved playing their ipod on this system. The large flatscreen HD TV in the main living area was sweet. You will not find a better pool in all of the Panama City Beach/Destin area. Pool was a very short walk from the house. As for why we chose this place over many others? FEEDBACK! I viewed the 10 comments left by previous renters of \"Off The Deep End\". Not only were they all positive, but most of them mentioned the owner, Randy. When it said Randy was easy to work with, you really have no idea until you actually talk to him. As soon as we arrived, he called to make sure everything was in good order. How many owners or management companies would do that? Well, Randy was my first. We had a little problem with one of the air conditioning units, which Randy was quick to address. He had a guy come out to fix the issue ASAP. He followed up several times to make sure we were comfortable. Next summer will be here before you know it. The first person I\'ll be calling to book a reservation is Randy. Again, the place is great. But dealing with Randy really made our long Labor Day weekend experience very enjoyable. Thanks Randy!!!
Just got back from my family\'s annual beach trip, and we had a blast staying at Off the Deep End. Randy was great to work with. He called on Saturday after our arrival to make sure that everything was OK. The house has a great view of the Gulf from the covered porch, and you can\'t beat the location. The house is at the front of the Seacreast Beach community so you are close to both the beach and the pool. With the house in the Seacreast area, you are close to both shopping and restaurants at Rosemary and Alys Beach (can\'t beat Charlie\'s Donuts truck for breakfast in the morning). The house is well furnished and stocked with plenty of games, beach chairs, boogie boards and other beach activity items. This was our 5th year to stay at Seacrest Beach and this house is at the top of the list for future stays.
