Another car, "The Golden Nellie" was originally titled Caboose #1068. It has been superbly restored as a private suite-car for those who demand the ultimate in luxury and privacy. Golden ceilings, heavy burgundy velvet drapes and a queen size bed will have you feeling as if you were an old-time railroad magnate. Even the original chairs are there and have been recovered with beautiful brocade fabric. A golden ladder leads you up to the covered observation deck above.
The "Golden Nellie" is a private car for those who demand only the best. With glided golden ceilings, heavy burgundy velvet drapes, a queen size bed and a private bath, this car is our most extraordinary treasure. The original lounge chairs have been elegantly restored and one may sit in comfort after climbing the golden ladders into the covered observation deck above.
A first night deposit is required at the time the reservation is made. Two weeks notice is required for canceling a reservation
