What’s better than perfect?!?! I’m not sure there is such a thing. I’ll probably sound super formal but who cares. I could not have asked for a better place to stay. This apartment is literally 6 mins walk (down a calm street) to the beach and bars. An additional 4 mins and you’re standing on the country’s famous St. Lawrence Gap. Then there’s also the proximity to great breakfast cafes. The amazing this is how quiet the surroundings are if you just decide to sit on the patio. The house itself was super clean well layed-out, and there was a wonderful lady who came by on two occasions to make sure the linens and beach towels etc. we’re cleaned. LauraLin is a great host and was always readily available when I had questions and she was not imposing (which means a lot know to me as I’d rather not have a host breathing down my back). Then there is the pool, for those days when the 6 min walk to the beach is just asking too much on your body. I def loved this place and will be booking again on my next trip to Barbados.
This apartment is in a fantastic location. Close to restaurants cafe and the beach. It’s sparkling clean and roomy. Yes it could use a bit of a modernise or a spruce up. But it’s fantastic value and laura a great hosts don’t hesitate to book. We’ll be back!
Our stay at Amaryl Apartments was great! The location was amazing, we were able to walk most places we were going, and there was as a taxi stand just down the street for when we needed a car to take us around the island. Laura was very helpful throughout our vacation, she was always very quick to respond and offered many tips to help us out. This was a nice quiet spot to stay, adjacent to a very lively bustling area. Couldn’t ask for anything more!
The apartment is very spacious and the courtyard is lovely. There are plenty of linens and towels including beach towels. The kitchen is equipped with most items for basic cooking needs but unfortunately the complex doesn\'t have a barbeque. WIFI was very good. The location is excellent - easy walking distance to restaurants, the beach, and a nice market that is well stocked. The walk to the bus stop is not too far and there is parking on site if you have a car.
Our stay was lovely. Laura was communicative via phone and AirBnB messages beforehand and during. The home is a very short walk away from the beaches and about a 30 min walk away from Oistins Fish Market. Had no problems with the kitchen, as it was well equipped, and appreciated that there were beach towels. We were 2 couples, and she had no problem with us pushing the two twins together in one of the bedrooms. Future guests, please note that there was no soap (although there was a soap dish) so it may be best to bring a bar or two from home. There was a problem with our Internet (to no fault of Laura\'s - someone had clipped the wire while landscaping) so we were without for most of the trip - but Laura was responsive and did her best to get it resolved.
